Croatian Schools NSW

For generations, community language schools in NSW have offered children and young people the opportunity to learn their heritage, use their language, deepen their cultural understanding and strengthen their sense of identity. These schools play an important role in building community connection, respect for diversity, and pride in cultural traditions across our multicultural state.

As part of the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools and the NSW Community Languages Program, Croatian Schools NSW is proud to be part of this tradition of community-led education that supports students from Kindergarten through Year 12 in Croatian language and cultural learning. Our network brings together seven schools across Sydney and Western NSW, each rooted in local community spaces like public schools, clubs and churches, so families can access quality language learning close to home. 

In 2026 and beyond, our goals are simple but meaningful:

• To grow opportunities for Croatian language learning that meet the needs of today’s families
• To strengthen community bonds through shared cultural celebration and learning
• To support every student in developing confidence, connection and cultural pride
