Our Schools

Croatian Schools NSW brings together seven independently run, not-for-profit Croatian language schools across Sydney and Western NSW.

Each school offers welcoming, inclusive classrooms led by passionate teachers, helping young learners understand the Croatian language, build confidence and share cultural pride.

Schools in our community

Our schools operate in public schools, community clubs and churches, and we welcome learners of all backgrounds.

More than a classroom. A Community.

Our schools are led by dedicated community committees, families and educators who believe learning Croatian strengthens culture and identity, and connects generations. Our classrooms are welcoming places where children can grow, belong and feel proud of their heritage.

Classes build skills in reading, writing and speaking Croatian, while also exploring traditions, music, history and cultural celebrations. Students take part in activities such as cultural workshops, performances and festive community events, bringing the language to life beyond the classroom.

Our teachers support every student with care and encouragement. They are often native or fluent Croatian speakers with years of teaching experience, creating engaging lessons that help learners of all levels feel confident and supported.

Where language lives and community grows

Our schools are more than classrooms. They are vibrant community hubs where language and culture is celebrated, friendships flourish, and children grow with confidence in their heritage.
